Jie-Hung Connie Shiau is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher. Raised in Tainan, Taiwan. Shiau’s choreographed at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, New Choreographer Project in Taipei, SUNY Purchase College, Summer For The City at Lincoln Center, and more.

As a performer, Shiau’s worked with companies including Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, A.I.M by Kyle Abraham, Gallim Dance, Gibney Company, Kevin Wynn Works. Shiau is currently performing with Brian Brooks/Moving Company, Hélène Simoneau Danse, Robyn Mineko Williams & Artists, Peter Chu’s Chuthis, and Obremski/Works.
Additionally, Shiau was a Fall25 Artist in Residence at Baryshnikov Arts Center. Shiau’s dance films were Official Selection of Dance On Camera, Official Selection and Best Choreographer of Cyprus Dance Film Festival, and a semi-finalist in the London International Web&Shorts Film Festival.
