Kyter Steffes is a New York–based artist and architect working at the intersection of art, architecture, and music. As Lead Design Manager for the Sphere in Las Vegas, he played a key role in transforming the 18,600-seat venue into a global benchmark for immersive, technology-driven design. Steffes has collaborated with artists including Dan Colen and Maya Lin, realizing large-scale works that integrate spatial, visual, and sensory experience.
He is currently working on Memory of a Star, a project that reflects his ongoing exploration of perception, scale, and cosmic connection. At the core of his practice is an interest in translating the invisible into tangible experience—transforming phenomena such as the sounds of the universe into environments that can be heard, felt, and inhabited. His work invites audiences into heightened states of awareness, where sound, space, and light converge to shape immersive and perceptual experience.
