Neeti Sivakumar is a multidisciplinary artist and designer based in Brooklyn, New York. She works at the intersection of sociology of space and technology. Her practice focuses on the production of space and what it means for marginalized communities to occupy space visibly. She believes in a participatory approach to reflect and critique structures of inequality and access.
With a master’s in interactive media from NYU and a bachelor’s in architecture, she works with a variety of mediums including architecture drawings, crafted spaces, audio/video, and, emerging technology like AR/VR, generative AI, and motion capture.
She has received grants from the Goethe-Institut Mumbai, ZKM, Karlsruhe, and BeFantastic Bangalore, and was a part of NYU’s HEAR US (Honoring, Elevating, and Recapitalizing Underrepresented Stories) cohort in 2024.
