Creative technologist

Alan Winslow is an award-winning creative technologist and educator whose work spans interactive installations, public art, and lens-based practice. He leads research into new volumetric imaging systems and creates participatory artworks that invite audiences to reconsider how location, movement, and time can be witnessed. Working across emerging imaging modalities and interactive environments, his practice offers viewers new perspectives on the subjects and systems. Winslow’s work has been presented internationally at the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Photoville Brooklyn, the Triennial of Photography Hamburg, the International Photography Festival Leiden, and, most recently, in an interactive installation at Jacob’s Pillow. He is based in Brooklyn and teaches lens-based art at NYU Tisch.
