Allison Fan (she/her) is a first-generation Asian-American dance artist based in Brooklyn, New York.
Originally from Columbus, Ohio she received her BFA from the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY
Purchase and was awarded the SUNY Thayer Fellowship in 2024 for outstanding potential in the
arts. She also studied at Korea National University of Arts from 2022-2023 and has continued her
auxiliary education through attending programs such as B12, Springboard Danse, Orsolina 28,
Perry Mansfield and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. As a freelance artist, Allison has performed
and presented works in both New York and abroad. She is interested in the cross-section between
dance and other arts practices such as film and fashion. In 2025, she made her directorial debut for
“SOMETHING HAS TO GIVE.” Other credits include Vogue, Parsons Fashion, Henry Lu among
others. She is excited to create work that transcends cultural norms and is passionate about using
dance to explore identity and uplift underrepresented voices.
