Min-hyung Kang (she/her) is a contemporary art curator and arts interpreter/translator working across English, Japanese, and Korean. She holds a master’s degree in Media Arts from Tokyo University of the Arts and an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Japanese from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Before relocating to New York, she founded and directed Barim (2014-2024), an independent nonprofit art organization in Gwangju, South Korea. She has curated critically acclaimed exhibitions and festivals like Degital and Forking Room, offering unique platforms to critically engage with art, technology, and society in South Korea. She resides in Brooklyn, NY.
