Join us for an international gathering of artists, scientists, creative technologists, influencers and machines at MAXlive 2021: The Neuroverse
Together, through a festival’s worth of programming around neuroscience, artificial intelligence, and the human-machine interface, we will ask:
What is humanness? What makes it distinct? What is the precipice and promise of machine learning?
Take a roller coaster ride through newly discovered territories, from the creative minds of humpback whales to the black box of ML. The Neuroverse will open up new vistas and expose deep ravines in the exponential changes to our lives brought on by science and technology.
We will explore questions of consciousness, machine learning, humanness, and decision-making with artists, neuroscientists, engineers, and technologists, who break boundaries and challenge assumptions.
And you will be entertained!
At a convening of scientists, artists, and creative technologists around the live arts at the festival we will discuss the intersection of neural networks of bio intelligences and artificial intelligence, sparking dialogue across disciplinary boundaries about the new world of diverse intelligences and its impact on our lives and our role in the universe
